My Mother, Eileen Green
I wish for my Mother to be remembered. She suffered 36 years of physical and emotional abuse. She was generous and kind-hearted, and in spite of her own terrible life, she never refused to help others who were in need. My Mother often fed me when she had gone without food herself. She used to tell me that she had already eaten, and many years later I realised the truth: She had gone hungry so that I could eat. I want my Mother's memory kept alive, and this is my way of honouring her.
